I entered my home only to witness darkness surrounding the whole house .

I sighed out of tiredness and feeling my stomach Twitching with hunger it was 2 of morning and I haven't ate anything since afternoon because of back to back appointment and then surgery , I went and sat on the couch.

That's how it feels to stay ways from your family . I've been living away from my family since the 1st year of my MBBS and now I am one of the known Cardiologist .

The day was tiering and the growing head ache was taking it's best out me .
Whole day I couldn't even talk to Maa or Papa or Shivi . I Miss them , I Miss my family alot but my work is something which stops me from running to them .
I got up from the couch and went to kitchen to cook something for my self .

There was some leftover rice from yesterday and aloo gobi ki sabzi , I just made 2 roti for me and heated the sabzi .

Soon I was done with my dinner and headed to my room to get the much needed sleep .

Aahh let me go , I beg you let me go " the screams were resonating all around .
" For Godsake let me go " thud!! A slap sound resonated all around .
"Shut the fuck up or I'll fucking slit you tongue off " .

I woke up panting the same nightmare again . I don't usually get nightmare but whenever I do it's from that same incident . My thought were disturbed by ringing of my alarm I did not had time to think about what happened that day .
I did my morning routine and got ready for Hospital . I made some Sandwich for breakfast , soon i was done and headed to hospital.

It's been more than 2 hours since i arrived in hospital and from the moment I entered my cabin there were back to back appointments . I am happy that people trust me enough to let me examine there body and that too the most important organ THE HEART .

Finally I was free for sometime and went to resting room of hospital to get some rest .

Reaching the rest with my coffee I saw some of the nurses talking more like gossiping . Usually Suhana and I always stick together in our free time but She is out of the city for 2 weeks .
" Do you remember the attack that happened today 12 years back " I heard one of the nurse telling it to others .

My thoughts drifted back to that day how A Peaceful day of my life turned out to he so Dreadful . My thoughts were broken by the ringing of my phone . It was from my sister 'Shivika'

Author's Pov

"Hi di , when are you coming back its my birthday next month and I need you here with me . I don't even remember when was the last my di was with me on my birthday di please it's my 24 birthday please be here with me ."

"I swear di I'll not celebrate by birthday without you this year "

"I know baccha I am sorry for not being there but I promise I'll be there this year"said Ruhika to Shivika

They talked for few minutes more and hanged up as Ruhika needed to get back to her cabin.

Ruhika's Pov:

I heard her telling me to be there for his birthday . I know I couldn't make it to her birthday from many years .

I constantly live in a guilt of not being there for my sibling or my cousin as being the elder sister there were many time I wasn't there and I know they love me same but I couldn't shake of the guilt from my chest .

This isn't just a job for me it's an emotion , a dream which I always wanted to do and here i am . I love how people kids smile while staying strong I love to cure others with my skills .
Being a doctor was my dream studying in AIIMS Delhi is not everyone get the chance to But I think still staying in Jaipur I'll do the same and I'll stay close to my family .

Jaipur the city where I grew up made a alot of memories . The city I love and which lives me back . But some incidents left a piece of fear in my mind . But I know how to fight them off .

I know one day I have to face my fear . now I've decided I'll shift to Jaipur .
I miss being in Jaipur , I miss having family time with my family but now that's enough I'll shift to Jaipur and be with my family .
