" Quickly take this away they would be here soon , God not a single thing can be done without me looking after it " I heard Maa yelling from downstairs , the whole house was in hustle today as  they were coming to meet me .

After the conversation with papa that night i agreed to meet him and now skipping 2 weeks here I am getting ready to meet the one my family liked , i sat in my room draped in a Silk saree my wrist were claded with few Bangles with my long thick hair cascading down my waist giving me an elegent look .

My face was devoid of any makeup just a thick kohl and a lipgloss on my lips , I felt pretty looking at myself in the mirror , at first I was hesitant but after the assurance from papa gave me strength and the little more hesitance in me also left after suha and Raghav bhai assured me how good he is and is a perfect match for me .

A day after I told papa that I was ready to meet him Maa told me that so was he , trust me at first I was a bit taken back because why would he say yes , no like him being such a big businessman why would he like to marry a doctor , not in a bad way but  wouldn't he like to marry someone like him , someone in business not someone who can't even take out some time from her busy schedule for herself then how would she do it for him or his family .

And after i told Suha about all this she was literally jumping in air with excitement with my wedding already planned in her mind and when I told her about my fear and other she calmed me down telling me go with the flow .

The door of my room bursted open disturbing my train of thoughts while Shivi entered wearing a beautiful dress with kohl in her eyes .

Trust me Kohl is us Mehra sisters thing we love applying it , i love the way it blends into my eyes giving it a dark enchanting look, she looked at me while her eyes widened up in surprise before whispering.

" God dii you look beautiful , trust me he's gonna be flat by looking at you " she whispered while i glared at her from the mirror before putting the bindi on my forehead , taking the sit on the bed she passed me dish filled with rasmalai which she was eating all this time furrowing my eyebrows i asked her .

" Kaha se mili mumma guest ko diye bigar tujhe kaise dediya " she shrugged her shoulder before looking at me with her eyes whispering a mischief done by her i glared at her asking her to spill the beans with my eyes .

" I silently stole it when Maharaj was arranging the food tray " my eyes widened hearing her before scolding her on the stunt she pulled lecturing on how it was wrong to steal food amidst all this I didn't realise how i forgot my nervousness .

" But still dii if all this went well then think Kavyansh Rajvansh will become my jijju , like literally my idol would become my jijju " I rolled my eyes at her statement but it did something to my heart.

His name felt odd, not uncomfortable but odd because Never in my million dreams i thought of becoming the wife of Kavyansh Rajvansh who is so popular among these genration due to his looks and his intelligence in his field with 9 million followers on his social media account , this is what Suha told me .

And I know i might sound stupid but i Never saw him forget it i didnt even know his name or his existence until Ragini mam introduced me to him .

But still thinking of it what if this really worked out what if he isn't what i fear him to be then it would be a blessing of Kanha ji which i  silently prayed for.

" Di --where are you lost " I heard Shivi , i looked at her while biting my lips .

" Shivi am - am scared --I " shivika took me in her arms before I could complete while i hugged her back soaking the comfort.

I felt this strange fear clouding my chest as the time moved forward .

" Don't worry di you are the best and don't be scared , there's nothing to be scared of and let me remind you that they had liked beforehand and if this worked out because I am sure it will then they'll love you more " I smiled at her and sighed while breaking the hug .

I sat quietly at the bed until the knock on the door took my attention , opening the door there stood Aditi bhabhi smiling before whispering
" they are here " .

I felt my back Straightening up on its own on just the mention of their arrival .

Shivi got excited at the mention while i fidgeted with the hem of my saree before asking her to go downstairs and look over the things and she left leaving me with my thoughts .

I looked at myself in the mirror the saree clinged to my body like a layer covering my curves giving them a elegant look , the bangles in my wrist clinked as I moved my palm towards the scar which was engraved on the right side of my waist but wasn't visible due to the sarees's pallu placed on my left shoulder covering it .

Since the day maa told me about the proposal there was a one thought which always revolved around my head Why would Ragini Aunty chose me ? Let's just hope for the best today .

The late afternoon sun streamed gently through the lace curtains of Ruhika’s living room, painting soft golden patterns on the marble floor. A faint aroma of sandalwood incense and freshly brewed elaichi chai hung in the air.

Kavyansh stood at the threshold, impeccably dressed in a light beige shirt paired with black pants — calm, composed, yet scanning the unfamiliar space with discreet curiosity meanwhile Eklavya and Navya who sat across Kavyansh on the couch gave him a teasing look as their eyes meet who Glared at them making them turn thier gaze .

A Sudden hush fell in the room as Ruhika descended the stairs followed by Aditi and Shivika , Kavyansh gaze flickered towards her , dressed in a Blue Silk Saree which hugged her curves hiding their perfection .

Her Hair fell on her cheek  , her hands were clasped in front which shakes at little clearly telling how nervous she was , Kavyansh didn't realise how long he has been staring at her until it was noticed by Abhay who leaned towards him before whispering in his ear.

" Stop staring you idiot " Kavyansh who was staring at Ruhika Quickly tore his gaze away from her face before looking at the marbles in front which looked more fascinating now .

Ruhika came forward and sat beside Ragini who adored her before talking with her also talking with youngsters occasionally who kept on talking or asking her anything, too excited to meet the one Liked by Ragini meanwhile Radhika talked with Kavyansh about his studies and other stuff which he answered honestly.

Ruhika looked around as Ragini was now talking with Radhika about something until her eyes met the pair of green ones .

Their eyes met.

A flicker — not quite lightning, but something stirred.

" I think now we should let kids talk alone after all it's them to spend life together though we liked Ruhika so much " stated Radhika to which Ragini nodded before speaking.

"Yes Beta take Kavyansh ji to Your Room" Ruhika stood up before whispering To Kavyansh to follow her  who walked behind her to her Room .

Ruhika whose heart was beating with utmost speed in anticipation of what was coming next meanwhile Kavyansh – usually the composed one was also losing his calmness as they walked towards the room

But who knew the Destiny Was the one playing cupid in their story .

finally they are meeting yayyy.

I was a little anxious to write this one to portray the emotions and nervousness of Ruhika along with Kavyansh's calmness .
